Ok Yahoo Store owners have you hit a design wall yet?

Ok, Yahoo Store owners for those of you who are just signing up you have a huge selection of great templates to choose from to make your design experience very pleasant and enjoyable. However, in my case just starting off years ago the templates that Yahoo provided were not very easy to use or in my opinion appealing to the eye. So I was faced with either hiring a designer or learning how to use the very complicated “looking” rhtml. I had the very unfortunate experience of hiring several designers with a made up portfolio when I first started out and boy was that a painful experience. I spent a lot of money and was never quite satisfied with the overall work that was done for me. So I finally figured out that I would teach myself how to design my own store so that I could add anything I wanted at anytime. That has finally made my owning a online store quite enjoyable…

When I look at e-commerce stores overall I am pretty amazed at the simple design features that are either absent or designed incorrectly. You must always create a store environment that is easy for your customer to order from of course due to the fact that you have less than 30 seconds to grab them in most cases.

I learned from my experience that the designers I hired were more interested in what they thought “looked” good rather then what would actually make me money! So I will discuss a little later how to self teach yourself some simple rhtml that will and should make your online experience much more enjoyable!!
